Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce

This delicious copycat recipe is easier than you think! Just a few fridge ingredients is all you need!

Equipment

  • 10" or 12" saucepan
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup salted butter (1 stick)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  • In saucepan combine heavy cream, butter, and cream cheese and bring to a gentle simmer over medium high heat.
  • Whisk in garlic, parmesan, pepper, and salt.
  • Keep simmering for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens and coats a spoon.
  • Thin with a tablespoon or two of milk if it appears too thick.

Notes

Enjoy this as a quick meal over pasta, chicken, or veggies. This sauce makes a great dipping appetizer for bread sticks and even pretzel bites.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 5 days, or freeze up to 3 months.
