Homemade Hummus
This easy and delicious hummus comes together wonderfully in the blender.

- 1 can chickpeas or garbanzo beans, drained, reserve water
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 2 garlic cloves, fresh or roasted
- 3-4 tablespoons water from the can (possibly more)
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice, or juice from half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. May have to adjust water quantity up by the tablespoon. It can start off quite thick.
Garnish with drizzled olive oil, red pepper flakes, or parsley.
