Ranch oyster crackers- talk about a quick and delicious snack!
My kids request these all the time, folks! A tasty, crunchy snack, perfect for game days, sleepovers, pot lucks, or any time!
Start with plain ol’ oyster crackers- any brand works, though I do recommend the Nabisco Premium brand. They are larger and hold up well for this recipe.
Add 2 sticks of butter to a glass measuring cup, and melt in the microwave. Add 1/4 cup powdered ranch seasoning. I highly recommend Hidden Valley.
Mix well, pour over oyster crackers, and dump onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake at 250 for 15 minutes, stir crackers, then cook at 300 for 10 minutes. The higher temperature at the end of baking results in a crispier cracker, which is what I prefer.
Quick note: If they come out a bit too salty for your tastes, use one stick each of salted and unsalted butter, or use unsalted for both sticks.

Also remember, add a 1/2 teaspoon of ground cayenne for a spicy twist! Add these delicious crackers to homemade soups and salads, too! A great appetizer and addition to have on hand.
One really can’t go wrong with a bowl of these at your next get together! Always a hit!
