Hi, friends! I have a great, EASY, three ingredient recipe for you!
These Banana Oat Chocolate cookies are wonderfully delicious with the natural sweetness of banana, they have no added sugar or flour, so not only are they incredibly simple to make, you can also feel good about feeding them to your family.
Baking up a batch of Banana Oat Chocolate cookies are one of my favorite ways to use up ripe bananas. The cookies are held together simply from the mesh of oats and ripe banana. The chocolate chips add an additional sweetness and indulgence to the recipe. One could omit them altogether if not a fan of chocolate, or even replace it with dried cranberries or raisins.
One of the easiest cookies to whip up in a flash, they will store at room temperature in an air tight container for days. They may be frozen up to three months as well.
One thing I do like to add to these cookies is a sprinkle of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla. Just adds a little more depth of flavor. Not required, but totally worth it.

Banana Oat Chocolate Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 very ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup quick cook or old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, optional
Instructions
- Prehet oven to 350. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, add mashed banana, oats, and chocolate chips. Add optional cinnamon and vanilla if desired. Mix well.
- Using a 1" cookie scoop or tablespoon, scoop mixture into balls and place on baking sheet. These cookies will bake in the shape they are made, meaning no spreading. I like to flatten them just a bit.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool on sheet for 2 minutes then move to wire rack. Yields about 12-15 cookies.
