When I first attempted bruschetta, I had honestly never looked at a recipe. I still haven’t. I have only gone by my taste experiences in restaurants, and therefore have kept the recipe incredibly simple.
The reason I decided to try bruschetta is because, for one, it looked incredibly easy to make. For two, I had been making crostini and was looking for different ways to use it. I also love fresh tomatoes.
This is a great appetizer for parties and get-togethers, which is how I debuted this recipe. All my friends and family loved it! Fresh tomatoes, basil, and onions, a little salt, pepper, and oil is really all you need for this fresh and appealing hors d’oeuvre.
